Azerbaijan`s minister of finance to attend Annual Meeting of Black Sea Trade and Development Bank

On June 30-July 1, 2018, the Board of Governors of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank will hold its Annual Meeting in the Russian city of Sochi. Azerbaijan will be represented at the Annual Meeting by member of the Bank`s Board of Governors, Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov.

The Board of Governors will evaluate the Bank`s operational development, approve financial statements for 2017, and decide on the use of net income.

The Board of Governors will also focus on the results of country strategies in 2015-2018, expansion of the existing potential of member countries in the banking and business sector, and the financing of small and medium entrepreneurship.

The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank is an international financial institution. It was established by member countries of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation – Albania, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Moldova, Romania, Russian Federation, Turkey, Greece, and Ukraine. The Bank is headquartered in the city of Thessaloniki, Greece. The Republic of Azerbaijan is represented in the Bank`s Board of Governors by Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov.
